Life in TEVITOL

EXAM WEEK!

What Should We Do In Exam Week?

Our third and last exam week is starting in this week. All teachers are preparing our exams. All of the students are still studying for these exams. We want to get high marks; but it is not easy for us. Most of the students always have stress but if we don’t have stress, we can take higher marks.

We should reduce our stress, but how? Firstly, we should start studying one week ago. We should make a plan because; when we made a plan, we can see our all works and we can set them. It is one of the important things. Secondly, we should motivate ourselves and we should always say’’ I can do it’’ because we said reasons of it, then our brains understand it and relax. Sometimes we should go to our one friend, we should talk and share our problems but if we want it. But sometimes we should study, we shouldn’t think so much. Don’t forget! Exams are not end of our lives.

Tevitol's Meals

                         The Surveys About Meals

In Tevitol whole students eat six meals include three main meals and three snacks. I made two surveys about the Tevitol’s main meals. According to the survey students’ %22 grill, %18 chicken schnitzel, %10 pizza, %10 steak tartar a la turca, %8 Turkish type ravioli, %4 hamburger, %4 spinach, %4 fried food, %4 banger, % 4 rotary, %4 potatoes and meat balls with béchamel sauce, %4 soups and % cliflower like more than other meals. According to other survey students’ %24 liver, %22 meals which include eggplant, %10 lamb stew with vegetables, %10 soups, %10 gumbo, %8 fish, %8  leek , % 6 cauliflower and %2 Turkish type ravioli like less than other meals weirdly the reason of being dislike the Turkish type ravioli includes soya bean. On the other hand students remarked that beastly meals don’t originate from dining hall staff, they originate from us. Dining hall staffs make good and healthy meals but we don’t like these meals.

Computer Games
The computer games which are most playing in TEVITOL.
The computer games which are playing in TEVITOL are various. DotA is the best game for students at TEVITOL. “Assassin’s Creed series” and “Left for Dead 2” are come after DotA. These are most playing single-player games. The Sports Heads is a basic game but it has lots of players.

DotA is a MOBA. It is opening is “Defense of the Ancients”. This game’s aim is protect your ancient from enemy team and destroy their ancient. DotA is a team game; it is usually 5 versus 5.

Sports Heads is a one versus one game. It is 2D football game. Teams, maps and goal sizes can change. There are 3 mods; golden goal, first to seven and 1 minute game.

Assassin’s Creed series have an interesting story and in the game you are an assassin in old times! You have missions. Left for Dead 2 is first person shooting game; you are killing zombies with a team. You can select which do you want from the team. Team has 4 members.

In the conclusion there are four glaring games which are playing in TEVITOL but of course there are many games playing in TEVITOL. But just 3 or 4 people play these games.

Closed Doors
In Tevitol, every school day, dormitories are closed by administration.
Every day, except weekends, cleaners lock the dorms because of administration’s decision. That decision is “Dorms are closed by cleaners in every lunch breaks” their target is prevent from eating something, being late and sleeping. Administration provide about that decision. In lunch, when they go, again, there are closed doors and students came in locked doors are big problem but concurrently that event is necessary to learn not to forget something. If students have an exam and they couldn’t sleep at ten, they might want to sleep at lunch break. If the students forget something in their dorm, they can’t go and get it but next time they have already learnt not to forget. Also, students want to have a shower after Physical Education in their dorm but they must have a shower in gym. In addition, they can waste their times in their dorm, of course, they haven’t got any work. Finally, because of those reasons some students do propagandas, for example Mehmet Yıldız said to Azmi Bey “Physical Education?” He wanted to say, if the dorms are close, where is having a shower? And, some students turn inside out their clothes and wear like that. Still, administration is determined not to change their decision.

SEMESTER VACATION IS COMING!
What will you do in semester vacation?

Semester vacation is coming. When exam the exam week finished, our vacation is starting at Tevitol, all students will go to their homes I don’t know other classes but most of the prep students miss their family. Because of this reason most of students want to go to their homes. But when they went to home. What will they do in their home? Will they play game or go to shopping? Will they do their homework or will they just relax and watch tv? We wondered and searched it. Now, let’s see results. I asked some people ‘’what will you do in semester vacation?’’ First, I asked Berfin and se said ‘’maybe I will go to my town Edremit ,I will buy a new jacket, I will relax and of course I will meet my friends, I miss them so much.’’

A Winter Miracle ‘’Snow’’

The First Snow of 2013  rained.

All the seasons are so entertaining for me because each season has different and interesting properties. For example, we can read books in spring and summer; on the other hand we can take photos in autumn and winter.

I want to touch on taking photos in winter. Snow forms pretty scene with nature. I think you shouldn’t miss this fascinating scene. In addition, if you take these photos when the snow rain, it will be more attractive than others. Besides that, watching snowfall can make you feel cheerful.

When we think about snow, firstly Okan comes to our minds. He seemed to be brave because of his behaviors. He loves snow very much therefore, he is always found outdoor when it snows.

I highly recommend that don’t be in a different team from Okan when you play snowball because he plays very well and he never gives up!

It’s Snowing

What do teachers think about snow?

Last Monday and Tuesday the weather was snowy. It affected our life’s.  I think snow is good, white and soft, but it makes our life’s more difficult. For example I’ve been ill since last Monday because of the snow. If it snows very long time I’ll get bored. It’s my opinion about snow, but I wondered what our teachers think about snow. I asked them this question. “What is your opinion about snow?” These are answers of Mrs. Gürbüz, Mrs. Sipahioğlu and Mrs. Küçükoruç.
First I asked our Germany teacher Mrs. Gurbuz. She said, “I like snow. It is good, white and clean, but it is really dangerous. I’m worried about walking on the snow, because I broke my arm in the past. The doctor encased it in plaster and it stayed that way for six months. So I think snow is dangerous.”. It’s Mrs. Gurbuz’s opinion about snow.
Second I asked our art teacher Mrs. Sipahioglu. She said “I really like snow because it is white, clean and pure. It means purity for me but it is dangerous too. For example if I see a car accident in snowy weather, I’ll be worried about snow.  But generally I like snow. ”. It’s Mrs. Sipahioglu’s opinion. Her opinion is similar to Mrs. Gurbuz’s opinion and I agree with them.

Third, I asked our prep coordinator, and English teacher Mrs. Kucukoruc. I think her opinion is interesting. Let’s see. She said “I hate snow. It makes our life’s more difficult. It is not romantic, good or funny. It is just romantic in films but not in real life.”. It is Mrs. Kucukoruc’s opinion. It’s interesting, isn’t it? She didn’t agree with Mrs. Gurbuz’s and Mrs. Sipahioglu’s opinions. But it’s her feelings about snow. Sometimes I feel like her about snow.
Finally you learned some teachers’ opinions about snow. Maybe you agree with them or you don’t agree with them, because every person has different feelings about the same thing. A person can see the good part of one thing but another person can see the bad part of this thing. Everybody is different and their opinions about snow are different. Some of them love it, some of them hate it. Have a good day with snow.

 Casual Homework

At Tevitol most of the student doesn’t do their homework neatly. Instantly, somebody must find a solution.
At TEVITOL Most of the students don’t like homework because all homework is boring for them. Therefore, they don’t show any interest to their homework, in fact, all homework is so beneficial for them.
This problem must be solve immediately and all student must encourage doing their homework. When this happens, we will see the most of the students doing their homework neatly.
If most of the students do their homework neatly, everything will change towards better. We can think this process like a vicious circle. Changing begins at a point and finishes at the same point therefore, for the students, doing their homework means a good initial into vicious circle.
If other steps come regularly this vicious circle finishes a good conclusion and everybody becomes pleased. If we consider all the conclusions of this vicious circle, we will see other conclusions and believe me all conclusions are so beneficial for you.
My advice for all the students at TEVITOL is DO YOUR HOMEWORK NEATLY!

Fashion at TEVİTOL

In TEVİTOL, most of students think “fashion is wearing which is fit you”.

First, I want to talk about “What is fashion?”. Everybody has their own definition about fashion. One of the most famous sentences is “fashion is wearing which is fit to you”. Some people don’t believe it. Some people believe it, so there is no definition about fashion. Fashion is just fashion. It changes every time, everywhere. Like everywhere TEVİTOL has a style, too, but like every fashion changes depends on time, but there are some rules about visual pleasure. I will tell you the most important thing.
Now, I handle a significant point of me. I am at table tennis team, and we wear sport gears, when we go to match. We wear old volleyballs teams’ uniform. It looks really horrible. Even it isn’t comfortable. The sport gears are red and grey, the sportswear is navy blue and light blue. Red and blue don’t pertain together. Although all of it, the red part of sport gears is the collar and this collar is ate standstill so back that it doesn’t seems when we wear sportswear, and it really looks ugly. I hate that sport gears.
