In our school some students interested in taking photography so our school has a photography club. Admirer of this activity is Hüseyin Bey. He likes taking photo so he edits this activity. This activity is editing every Thursday in literature building. Students who interest photography come and Hüseyin Bey teaches new things about photography. For example last week we studied panic method. We can use this method in sport activities because you can take running man photos whit this method helping. And we learn time, light and composition are very important in photograph.

Snowball Fight
The student, who saw snow, went out and started to do snowball fight.
This Monday and Tuesday were snowing. One student threw first snowball to another student. After this event, every student started to do snowball fight. Every student join this activity. This event had continued two days. Some student found amusing this activity, but some student didn’t like this activity. For example my roommate Ekin Balcı joined this activity but now she has a sore throat, so she is regretful, but lots of people thinks doing snowball fight is so good activity. Another example is my friend Okan Arda , he liked this activity. If he sees a person, he will throw a snowball. In short, some people didn’t like it. I hope you liked it, because we are in winter and every winter is snowing.

We Went STFA Museum
We Went STFA Museum
The STFA Museum is about rising of Sezai Türkeş and Feyzi Akkaya. They are two best friends in the college years. They are both civil engineer and they are very good in their jobs. The opening of STFA is Sezai Türkeş Feyzi Akkaya.
In the museum we saw some photographs. These photographs were about the jobs which STFA took from a foreign company. STFA was the first Turkish company which has taken job from a foreign country. At that time no one could take a job from some foreign country, and STFA was the first. It was a honor for Turkey.
Day by day STFA started to grow. They started to do things which are more important. Feyzi Akkaya designed the first crane which can carries 1200 kilos. It was for a very important job. They started to become a world-known company.
Now, STFA is a very important engineering company for Turkey and world. I want to say thank you to STFA because of the scholarships they give to us.

The Winter Olympiad
Baby Chess Tournamen
There are lots of activities and tournament in winter Olympiad. There is a baby chess tournament in the Winter Olympiad. It was at ten o’clock in chess activity class. First of all they explained the discrepancy of chess and baby chess because baby chess with groups but chess play alone and it has a lot of different rules. Later we created group as two people. And we started to play baby chess. Firstly all groups played the quarter final. Later the winners started to playing semi-final. Later the winners of the semi-final start to play final. After the final one group was champion. Later we congratulated champions and the baby chess tournament finished.I played my first baby chess at this tournament. I think baby chess harder than normal chess because of their rules. But I think if you learn baby chess, you will find baby chess funnier than normal chess. I think if you play baby chess, you can improve your talent more than normal chess because in baby chess you must think and play fast.

Istanbul Group 2
The Istanbul Group 2 which includes Prep students was founded.
In the few days ago, the Istanbul Group 2, whose first one has already existed, was founded. The group’s first tour was last week Saturday.
When Meral Hanım founded this group, she aimed that the students can coalesce to each other. Meral Hanım knows a city is learned by taking a tour. So, when Istanbul Group members take a tour, they use public transport vehicles and they walk a lot.
The Istanbul Group chose Istanbul because they wanted to learn the city which is Gebze’s neighbor and the most important thing is that Istanbul was the European Capital of Culture. The Istanbul Group is investigating historical and cultural background of Istanbul.
At my meeting with Meral Hanım, she said that like this tour made her feel pleased and excited. Also Meral Hanım said everyone contributes each other in this group and the Istanbul Group’s first tour which was last week Saturday was good.

On this day, there was no lesson but it is not a holiday and anyone is not free. Everyone was doing an activity whatever they wish. There were a lot of activities. I have joined some of them: Dance (Oriental), and Film (Lord of the Rings 1, 2, 3).

Start the Tevitol Winter Olympiads!
A good Tevitol Winter Olympiads Day was experienced.
There was Lord of the Rings 1, 2, 3 at the three different places. Everyone could watch them whichever they wish because the films were for people who didn’t join any activity.
The foods (brunch and lunch) were very delicious. The brunch was special for this day. At the brunch time, there were a lot of various foods.
The Tevitol Winter Olympiads which were the first time during the history of Tevitol. This event was Alperen Türkol’s opinion. The opinion is thought by teachers and they saw it is logical. Also they aim this organization will be an annual day.
In the Oriental activity as a dance activity, there were more girls than boys. However, everyone danced and had fun.

Funny, Serious, French…
Last Thursday we watched French Night. Attendants worked hard. We need thanks to Beliz Kearin, Brita Swenson and attendants.
I want to write about French Night Program. They showed us The Little Prince in French. They showed to us some video and they acted some scene from book. It was a good mixture. After they showed to us some video and three songs. A video was clip and others were informational and somewhere we laughed. They singed “Je t’aime.” and “Je Veux” Finally They played “Je t’aime” cover. Everybody was funny. They didn’t face to any problem in real show, but they were faced a lot of problem in rehearsal. French Night’s video will copy to tevitolfps1.
